Project Overview
“Fishia Marina” is one of two storyboard projects completed for my Directed Study-Advanced Storyboarding class.
My focus of this project was dialogue. Going from script to screen and visually representing a conversation in a way that is easy to follow.
“Fishia Marina” is 12-page short story written by Baliey Nolfe.
Due to time restraints, this visual animatic and boards are of pg. 9-12

Arthur’s Basement
On his journey, Soloman visits the home of a hobbiest Fish Breeder- Arthur, who spends his retirement down in his basement caring for his fish.
To visually represent the complexity and detail of Arthur’s basement, I created a 3D set in Maya, applied a Toonshader, and used various still shots as background for boards. (3D car model was also used)
